About the photo:

Belgian superstar Wout van Aert captured during his phenomenal 'best-1hr-power-effort-ever', coming up the final gravel part of the mighty Colle delle Finestre; one of the most beautiful mountain arenas in modern cycling. This effort proved decisive in the Giro’s final outcome as WVA was instrumental in piloting his teammate Simon Yates to a surprise overall victory in the 2025 Giro d'Italia. No (certain) win for Yates without this monster effort by Van Aert... a true historical cycling 'moment' immortalized.
